From Croix & Courbet, working small parcels on marl and limestone in the Jura, this Chardonnay is raised ouillé, preserving a fresh, non-oxidative profile. The nose opens with lemon peel, green apple, and a light nutty note, edged by a faint saline lift. The palate is linear and finely textured, with bright acidity carrying citrus and orchard fruit without weight. A subtle savoury tone builds through the mid-palate, grounded in the region’s soils rather than oxidative handling. The finish is long, stony, and gently saline.
