From high-altitude vineyards near Ponte-Leccia, Clos Venturi works with Carcaghjolu Neru, an old island variety revived by the Venturi family. The estate is farmed organically with biodynamic practice on schist and granite soils, with strong diurnal shifts shaping ripening. Fruit is hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts and handled with gentle extraction, followed by élevage in neutral vessels to preserve varietal detail. The 2023 shows red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate with notes of wild herbs and a light peppery edge. The palate is finely structured, with supple tannins and a clear, mineral line through the finish.
