From indigenous Northern Dalmatian red variety Babić, grown on windswept limestone karst slopes facing the Adriatic Sea. Elegant and medium bodied, with notes of sour cherry, plums, and herbs. With its fresh acidity and fruity character, this wine is best served at 16°, and pairs well with tomato-based sauces and grilled meat dishes like ćevapi.
Babić grapes are hand-harvested at Testament's 47 hectare organic estate near the town of Šibenik in Northern Dalmatia. 8 days fermentation on skins, before ageing in stainless and old oak.
