Benjamin Leroux Chambolle-Musigny 2023

From several parcels in Chambolle-Musigny, Benjamin Leroux sources Pinot Noir under long-term grower contracts, favouring organic practice and older vines on limestone-rich soils. Fruit is hand-harvested, partially destemmed according to parcel, and fermented with indigenous yeasts, with gentle extraction throughout. Élevage is in French oak with a restrained proportion of new barrels. The 2023 shows red cherry and raspberry with rose and a fine spice note. The palate is finely structured, with supple tannins and a precise, persistent line through the finish.
