This wine is produced from the Zibibbo grape variety. Originating from a vineyard situated 300 meters above sea level with a north-facing aspect, the vines here were established in 1934. They are cultivated following the Pantelleria sapling training method. The volcanic soil of the vineyard is notably deep and loose, featuring medium-grained yellow pumice, along with obsidian and sand. From this vineyard, the total bottle production is limited to 200 units.
