Samos Phyllas Vin Doux Muscat 2022

The Samos Cooperative proudly oversees one of Greece's most renowned and esteemed appellations. As one of Greece's pioneering cooperatives, it is deeply committed to preserving the island's cherished Muscat heritage. Established in 1934, the cooperative has been instrumental in revitalizing an industry that was in decline. Today, the cooperative has successfully restored its wines' prestige to the heights they reached during France's Phylloxera crisis in the 19th century. It now includes 25 sub-cooperatives with 4,000 members, producing approximately seven million liters or 9,000 tonnes annually, and employs 130 people.
