"Il Pinko represents a wine crafted around the most unique and notable expressions from a particular vintage—a continually evolving masterpiece. This year, the spotlight is on a Syrah rosé. Though rosé has previously graced the Il Pinko collection, its production method this year, involving both qvevri and old oak, stands apart. Alan, however, pointed out that this approach has been consistent since 2016, with the introduction of Spanish clay vessels in 2021."

It offers a lush mouthfeel, imbued with layers of exotic spices, hints of brambly, peppery green herbs, dashes of pomegranate juice, and tart pickled cherries. Subtle undertones of hazelnut emerge, alongside notes reminiscent of botanicals found in alpine amaros. Presented with vibrancy and depth, its texture is velvety, punctuated by a mineral-driven acidity and a touch of tannin. The wine lingers impressively, drenching the palate in a myriad of flavors and sensations. Simply put, this is a rosé of world-class caliber. It's best savored not too chilled, or even at a slightly warmer temperature.
