Stargazer ‘Rada’ Pinot Noir and Meunier 2024

With this co-fermented blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir sourced from the Coal River Valley, winemaker Samantha Connew has taken a gentle, detail-oriented approach: spontaneous fermentation, whole-bunch inclusion, and maturation in seasoned oak. The wine is perfumed and finely etched, offering notes of wild berries, pink peppercorns, and pomegranate seeds alongside contrasting herbal qualities; dried herbs, ripe earth, and forest floor. Meunier brings a supple, generous red fruit while Pinot Noir provides depth. The palate is bright and engaging with silken tannins and a mineral thread that draws the wine long and clean through the finish.
