Jean-Luc Jamet L’Enclave Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge Syrah 2022

Jean-Luc Jamet began his career working with his older brother Jean-Paul at their family domaine in the Northern Rhône. After parting ways in 2013, Jean-Luc built a winery to vinify his half of the vineyards, all in the best areas of Côte-Rôtie and Côtes-du-Rhône. 

Jamet named this wine L'Enclave because the vineyard area is surrounded by areas classified as Côte-Rôtie. Syrah grapes are almost entirely destemmed, and fermented in stainless, before maturing for just over a year in older French oak.

This is a perfumed and silky Syrah, with notes of violets, smoke, and macerated black cherries, strawberries, and raspberries.
