From vineyards surrounding Montalcino, this Rosso draws on younger parcels of Sangiovese grown on the area’s mixed galestro and clay soils, giving a wine of structure without the full weight of Brunello. The 2018 vintage was fermented with controlled extraction and aged in large, neutral oak, preserving the grape’s natural line. It shows sour cherry, red plum and dried herbs, with a light earthy note and a touch of spice. The palate is medium-bodied and firmly structured, with fine tannins and a clean, persistent finish that reflects both site and variety with clarity.
