Heaps Good Wine Co Modri Pinot Noir 2016

Located in Ritoznoj, Pohorje Foothills, Lower Styria, the vineyard produces a Pinot with a high-quality new world feel. It has a whiff of the whole bunch pepper and cherry fruits. The wine undergoes natural pre-fermentation cold maceration with 15% whole bunches, wild fermented, and spends 19 days on skins. After pressing, it is racked to 500 litre French barrels (10% new) and allowed to undergo spontaneous malolactic fermentation. With a 12.4% alcohol content, it has lovely fruit of the forest spectrum, super fine tannins, and a lightness that meets length.
