Bründlmayer Sekt Brut

This Sekt Brut is a classic sparkling wine composed of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Gruner Veltliner. Each September, the grapes are evaluated for maturity and acidity in order to be used as the base for production. They are sourced from small parcels in our vineyards that have an ideal balance of southeast-facing slopes to provide warmth and chalky soils that give freshness. Upon harvesting, they are delicately pressed with only the heart of the must being used before undergoing malolactic fermentation in stainless steel.

The finished product is then racked into Austrian oak barrels where it develops nuances of white bread, brioche and stewed apricots. It presents generous fruit presence with considerable body and a pleasant open-hearted feel. There is a smooth yellow fruitiness throughout along with a tingling balance that isn't too sweet while having very beautiful filling.
