Picq Chablis 2022

Didier Picq's wines are praised highly by respected writers and peers alike over its purity and concentration. Produced from just a touch over 11ha south of the Grand Cru's, longer ageing on lees contributes a breadier nuance to accentuate the ocean breeze, iodine quality and the lemon, pear fruit.

“Scintillating scents of mixed mineral-like stones and things, whiff of lime juice, green leaves, green apple, spot on Chablis-ish sort of stuff, though there’s a touch of ‘funky’ nuttiness in there too. Some quiet richness to texture, a slip and slide of nutty character, but still holds that Chablis freshness and mineral-talc charm. Lovely drinking.”
