This vintage of Sangiovese Rosato is unique from Vinea Marson's typical sangiovese/nebbiolo blend. With lower nebbiolo yields in the 2021 vintage, the winemaker decided to create a standalone Sangiovese Rosato. The even growing season resulted in a balanced and bright fruit profile, with a nose of strawberries and cream. On the palate, this wine delivers a delightful savory character, with notes of sour cherry wood and pleasing phenolics that accompany tart strawberries and yellow nectarine flavors. The finish is well-rounded with a blend of acidity and tannin that creates a pleasing sensation in the mouth. This easy-drinking Rosato is perfect for pairing with antipasto and pizza, and can be cellared for up to 4 years.
