Gut Oggau's Atanasius undergoes partial skin fermentation and is aged in wooden vessels ranging from 500L to 1500L, maturing on its lees for a year. Throughout this process, there's no fining, batonnage, filtration, or added sulphur.

The wine, a harmonious blend of Blaufränkisch and Zweigelt, showcases a finely-tuned balance of juicy fruitiness and spicy aromatics. Approachable and transparent in character, Atanasius is easy to appreciate and exudes a distinct, untroubled charm.
