Blended with a touch of Pinots Noir and Gris from the same origin, this Chardo is co-harvested and fermented to produce a wine that, while reddish in appearance, drinks like a white. It carries hints of oyster shells and simmered red fruits. While it might give off a red scent and taste white, at its heart, it's unmistakably Chardonnay.
