Vino Martville
Amber WineVino Martville Martvilis Marani Tsolikouri 2021
From the western Samegrelo region of Georgia where the climate is subtropical and maritime; it rains frequently and is home to many natural watersheds, intricate limestone canyons with rich and powerful waterways and abundant marshland. This area is one of Georgia’s most bucolic, and interestingly also home to the oldest documented winemaking in one of the oldest wine producing countries in the world.
Vino M’artville produces less than 3000 bottles annually, from .5 hectares in Samegrelo. Their wines are truly artisan, and are extremely limited. Farming is organic, and winemaking is extremely traditional, embracing the ancient winemaking history that makes Georgia one of the most unique wine producing countries in the world.
