Xiao Pu 'Someone in the Crowd' Claret 2021

Founded in 2017, ex-sommelier Ian Dai Hongjing, is a travelling negoçiant / 'nomad winery' that produces idiosyncratic cuvées experimenting with extended maceration, alternative varieties, and multi-vintage blending.

Directly translating to ‘Little Garden’ , Xiao Pu wines are a product of nature, made with sustainable practices and respect for the land and its people. Ian Dai works with long-term partners who share the vision of sustainable agriculture and modern farming philosophies.

A blend of Pinot Noir, Syrah, Marselan and Chardonnay from Ningxia made in a ‘Claret Rose’ style. Lifted white fruits and floral notes from the Chardonnay are blended with a touch of ripe red cherry and goji berry.
