Red WineVina Mora Andreis 2021
Andreis is a coastal field blend of Babić and Plavina from limestone terraces near Primošten, Croatia. The vineyard lies just below the ancient Fort Andreis, its name now echoed in the wine. Vinified with native yeasts and minimal intervention, the wine sees partial maceration—some berries pressed after just hours, others after several days—bringing layers of freshness, spice, and savour. It’s unfined, unfiltered, and aged in a mix of neutral oak and inert vessels.
The result is both wild and focused: red plum, cranberry, and violet meet crushed rock and Adriatic salinity. Light on its feet but not lacking depth, it finishes with a ripple of acidity and faint herbal grip—resolutely Mediterranean, and unmistakably Vinas Mora.
