From the winery: A wine like an easy ride on an ash-brown Poznan horse through coniferous Baltic forest. Glimpses of resin here, bark there, bathed in red light. A few very gently swaying fragments of Magritte’s “La Carte Blanche” wave to us discreetly from between the leafy branches, telling of protestantism, stone fruit, mushroom broth and samphire. Holidays on the Gulf of Finland beckon. With an abundance of mature cheese in a silver Rimowa and a bikini figure, plus 17 kilos. #residualsugarpositivity (don’t panic, it’s only 6 grams).
