White WineHeinrich 'Into the Light' 2022
Into the Light is a Blanc de Noir made from Blaufränkisch, and it shows just how quietly expressive this grape can be when handled with delicacy. Pressed gently and left unfined and unfiltered, the wine offers a pale, pearlescent hue and a texture that’s almost silken. Aromatically restrained but compelling, it hints at white cherry, blood orange, crushed herbs, and salty stone. There’s a fine thread of tannin and a cool, mineral-driven core that speaks of Burgenland’s limestone soils. A wine of subtle tension and inner brightness—like filtered sunlight after rain—inviting contemplation without ever demanding it.
