Maran

Maran IWA Quince Pét-Nat Dry 2024

Produced by Maran, one of the pioneering wineries of modern Armenia, their Quince Pét-Nat is an unusual sparkling fruit wine made from 100% Quince. The 2024 is produced using the ancestral method, in which fermentation begins before bottling and continues in the sealed bottle, naturally generating carbon dioxide and creating its delicate effervescence. Released unfiltered at 10.5% alcohol, the wine has expressive aromas of fresh quince, green apple, citrus peel and white flowers. The palate is dry, crisp and refreshing, with lively acidity, fine bubbles and a gentle textural quality. Its distinctive orchard-fruit character and citrus freshness make it particularly well suited to aperitifs, seafood and lightly seasoned dishes.
