The fermentation, initiated in French oak, is arrested just in time, preserving subtle grape sugars to balance its intrinsic acidity. It embodies a rare blend of elegance and purity, capturing the epitome of the premier Riesling nurtured on this isle.

"Eylandt," which means "island" in Dutch, is a nod to Abel Tasman's writings from 1642 when he first chronicled the cartography of Van Diemen’s Land.
