White Wine

Pomalo Plavina 2022

Plavina shares one of its parent grape varieties (Crljenak) with Plavac Mali, though Plavina is potentially much older than Plavac. It has some characteristics in common with the Serbo-Hungarian grape variety Kadarka, which makes it tempting for me to draw a comparison, but otherwise comparisons to other grapes are not particularly useful here. Aromas of wild strawberries and violets are met with a delicate palate of red currants, white pepper, and soft tannins.
