Peddlers Gin Co 'Rare Eastern' Shanghai Craft Gin

Peddlers Gin Co was founded by a trio of expats, inspired by the quality of botanicals in China and intending to add value to often overlooked Chinese ingredients. Over three years, the team travelled around the country to sample vibrant botanicals - from Yunnan to Dongbei - and combined Western traditions with Eastern flavours to create the first Chinese gin. 

Inspired by the Shanghai peddlers of yesteryear, who would sell goods from street to street beneath skyscrapers and major trading ports, Peddlers distills the cultural melting pot of Shanghai and shares it with discerning, adventurous drinkers.

Made in the London dry style, crafted will 11 botanicals featuring unique Chinese ingredients including single farm Sichuan pepper from Chengdu, buddha’s hand, cassia and east Asian mint from Yunnan, lotus from Gansu, liquorice from Guangdong, almonds from Xinjiang, and angelica from Dongbei. Floral, fragrant pepper, coriander. Perfect in a gin tonic, martini or gimlet.
