Peddlers Gin Co Barrel Aged Gin

Peddlers Gin Co was founded by a trio of expats, inspired by the quality of botanicals in China and intending to add value to often overlooked Chinese ingredients. Over three years, the team travelled around the country to sample vibrant botanicals - from Yunnan to Dongbei - and combined Western traditions with Eastern flavours to create the first Chinese gin. 

Inspired by the Shanghai peddlers of yesteryear, who would sell goods from street to street beneath skyscrapers and major trading ports, Peddlers distills the cultural melting pot of Shanghai and shares it with discerning, adventurous drinkers.

Rested and refined, an ode to the ‘Old Tom’ of the 19th century. The Rare Eastern Gin goes directly from the still and is aged for 6 months in 225-litre French oak red wine barrels, mellowing the gin and integrating woody notes.

Cinnamon, cherry, mellow stone fruit, and spice. Great in an aged negroni, gin old fashioned, or martinez.
