Panevino Girotondo 2019

Gianfranco Manca, a former baker, inherited neglected old vines and decided to rehabilitate them. He planted a new vineyard with Monica and Carignano del Sulcis. He believes that the vines tell him what to do with the grapes and creates wines with minimal treatments and on natural yeasts. His wines stylistically change each year with a new label and name for each vintage. He only rarely bakes bread these days but teaches classes and demonstrations.
