Monte Dall'Ora Saseti Valpolicella 2023

Perched on the limestone terraces of Castelrotto in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, Monte Dall’Ora farms its 25- to 70-year-old pergola-trained vines biodynamically, letting the “saseti” (“little stones”) in the soil shape the wine’s mineral pulse. Corvina and Corvinone dominate the field blend, rounded out by Rondinella, Molinara and the heirloom Oseleta, all harvested by hand from southeast-facing slopes between 70 – 200 m high.

Displaying a vibrant ruby red colour with purplish highlights, the Valpolicella Saseti reveals enticing aromas of ripe cherries and juicy red plums, complemented by a delicate hint of bitterness. It is fermented in stainless steel using natural yeasts, and is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
