Doug Lilburne is based in Steels Creek in the Yarra Valley, where he makes wine from his organically-farmed home block, and purchased organic fruit.
This multi-regional blend leans heavily on classic winemaking styles to capture nostalgia in the glass. The Yarra Shiraz provides violet and blue fruit bolstered by plush destemmed tannin. Pyrenees Grenache lifts the aromatics out of the glass and increases freshness.
