Maran
Red WineMaran Kiraki Red 2024
Maran is one of the pioneering wineries of independent Armenia, established by oenologist Avag Harutyunyan and drawing on several generations of family winemaking experience. Based in Armavir, the winery works with indigenous Armenian varieties, including Areni, alongside international grapes, producing wines that range from fresh, youthful styles to traditionally matured reds. Kiraki is the estate's approachable, contemporary range, created for uncomplicated enjoyment and everyday drinking. The 2024 Red follows this philosophy, offering a fresh, fruit-focused introduction to modern Armenian wine. Intended for drinking young, it is an accessible choice for casual meals, particularly grilled meats, vegetables and the richly seasoned dishes of Armenian cuisine.
