Originating from the town of Chamoson in the Swiss Valais, this grape variety is characterised by its diminutive berries. It made its way to Valle d’Aosta in the 1970s, courtesy of the Institut Agricole of Valle d’Aosta.
The wine presents a radiant straw-yellow hue. The bouquet unveils floral aromas, highlighted by jasmine and peony, complemented by nuances of apple, plum, and citrus. Its palate is harmoniously balanced, hinting at oceanic undertones and underscored by a lively minerality.
