Giovanni Almondo Roero Arneis Vigne Sparse 2024

Almondo’s Vigne Sparse draws from a mosaic of sandy vineyards across Roero, where Arneis finds its most articulate expression on these loose, fossil-rich soils. The 2024 shows many key varietal elements that are signatures of Arneis — pear, white peach and chamomile, with a backing vocals featuring almond extract and violets wrapped up tight in a fine, sandy-chalky grip. There is breadth through the mid-palate, but the finish remains dry and mineral.
