Since 1966, Domaine du Bouchot has been crafting wines of distinction. The 10-hectare estate is located in the traditional region of Pouilly-Fumé on the right bank of the Loire Valley. In 2018, Antoine Gouffier and his wife took over the estate, bringing modern views to this classic area.
The richly fragrant 2021 Caillottes offers dill, fennel and elderflower at this early stage. Having undergone full malo and remained on lees for 12 months, it has a round and creamy texture while retaining the natural freshness of the vintage with an appealing line of acidity and chalky, almost tannic grip. 92 points, Rebecca Gibb, Vinous.
