Dilworth and Allain Elevated Whisper Coup fe Foudre 2022

The Elevated Whisper is a regional blend combining two different vintages, designed to be both delicious and refreshing. This blend includes Riesling, which underwent skin fermentation, and Sauvignon and Chardonnay, which were whole bunch pressed. Aged in a combination of seasoned oak and stainless steel, all three varietals remained on lees throughout the aging process to enhance texture and complexity. In January, the wine was racked off lees, blended, and then bottled in March 2023 without fining or filtering, except for a small addition of Sulphur Dioxide.

This wine presents a light straw color and bursts with aromas of lemon rind, orange blossom, shortbread, and dried herbs like chamomile. The palate echoes these citrus notes, creating a focused and linear profile that leaves a tonic-like impression, inviting further sips. Vibrant and texturally intriguing, The Elevated Whisper is a wine that captivates with its unique character and appeal.
