Sourced from organically farmed vines on the volcanic and loess soils of the Garam River terraces in southern Slovakia, this is Kadarka rendered with finesse and transparency. Frigyes Bott ferments whole berries with native yeasts and ages the wine in neutral oak, preserving the grape’s signature perfume and delicate frame. The 2023 vintage is luminous and silken, with notes of wild strawberry, redcurrant, rosehip, and sweet paprika, underpinned by fine, powdery tannins and bright acidity. A featherweight red with immense charm.
