Argyros Santorini Assyrtiko 2021

The Argyros family has been making wine on Santorini since 1903. Yiannis Argyros took over the winery in 1974 and has worked hard to ensure that the quality of the fruit is as good as possible. Argyros is especially highly regarded for vinsanto and dry white both made from Assyrtiko.

The Santorini Argyros Assyrtiko is a dry white wine made by the variety of Assyrtiko 100%, cultivated in the private vineyard located in Episkopi Gonia. The sedulous selection of grapes from a 50-60 years old vineyard and the vinification, result to a fine dry white wine with a strong personality.

Crystal-clear yellow color, distinctively flavored with citrus overtones. The relatively high acidity of Assyrtiko gives it a crisp freshness, while the vineyard's extremely low performance offers body, structure and substance.
