La Petite Vanguard Blewitt Grenache Mourvèdre 2022

Located merely a few hundred meters apart in the sandy terrain of Blewitt Springs, the Rende and Yangarra vineyards experienced nearly identical climatic conditions. Mother nature blessed them with a harmonious balance of sun and rain, offering the vines a respite following years that tested their endurance.

The resultant wine boasts a mix of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre. Each variety underwent individual fermentation, with around 40% of the blend featuring whole bunches. After merging the varieties in the colder months, the wine was matured in a 22HL French oak cuve, new to the process, for roughly half a year. The final product was bottled without any fining or filtration.
