Domaine de Vaccelli Quartz Rouge 2020

Domaine de Vaccelli is a leading producer of modern Corsican wines, with a focus on typical Corsican grape varieties that form the pillars of the Ajaccio appellation and terroir. The vineyard is committed to manual harvesting and organic farming, and was certified as organic in 2019. The vineyard's 25 hectares of vines are planted on hillsides with granite arenas. 

The Quartz cuvee is a blend of indigenous varieties Carcajolo, Minustellu, and Sciaccarellu. The grapes are co-fermented over a long, gentle fermentation, and age for 28 months in demi-muids. Beautifully balanced and complex, it combines power and finesse with expressive fruit character. Lovers of high-elevation Nebbiolo will enjoy this wine
