Individual Syrah clones SARDI-7 and PT23 were fermented in separate batches, each with small portions of whole berries and whole clusters. Following fermentation, they were aged for nine months in 500L French oak puncheons, of which 25% were new barrels, and underwent minimal intervention before bottling.
