Keller
White WineKeller Riesling RR 2024
Established in 1789, Weingut Keller is now operated by eleventh generation vigneron Klaus Keller and his wife Julia. Both oenologists by training, they can be credited with pioneering fine dry Riesling in Germany's Rheinhessen. Their coveted 'G-Max' cuvee is one of the most expensive Rieslings in the world, and hard to find, with only 1500 bottles produced per year.
The Keller Riesling RR is named for the small plot of red soils in the heart of the Kirschspiel vineyard, from which the wine is usually sourced. Made in a single large cask, this wine rarely ferments to dry. This vintage, a touch of residual sugar is balanced by high acidity and tropical and stone fruit character.
