Château de la Négly Ancely 2017

From La Clape, where Mediterranean exposure and limestone-rich soils define the wines, Ancely is drawn from old-vine Syrah rooted in some of the estate’s most exposed parcels. The 2017 was fermented with careful extraction and aged in oak to build structure while preserving the site’s mineral line. The wine shows blackberry, black olive and dried thyme, with a distinct garrigue character and a touch of smoked spice. The palate is dense and firmly structured, with layered tannins and a long, savoury finish shaped by sun, wind, and stone.
