This remarkable Chinon blend originates from various plots with gravel and sandy soils in the quaint village of Cravant-Les-Côteaux, situated along the Vienne River.
On the nose, the wine unfolds with rich aromas of blackcurrant and red fruits, complemented by a hint of subtle saltiness and earthy notes. The palate experiences a complexity with firm tannins and lingering dark fruit flavours.
Ideal pairings include braised beef, white meats, or a selection of charcuterie. This wine is best enjoyed if decanted for 30 minutes prior to serving and has the potential to further mature over the next five to seven years.
