Château Musar Hochar 2020

The Château Musar Hochar 2020 is a beautifully crafted red blend that reflects the unique terroir of Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley. Composed primarily of Cinsault, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon, this second label from Château Musar offers a more approachable yet characterful expression of the estate’s philosophy. The grapes, grown in organically farmed vineyards on gravelly and limestone-rich soils, were hand-harvested and fermented in concrete vats with native yeasts. The wine matured in French oak barrels for several months, adding structure and depth while retaining its vibrancy.

The 2020 vintage presents an alluring nose of red berries, dried herbs, and warm spices, with underlying notes of earth and leather.
