Musk Lane Fiano 2021

From the winemaker:

"A bone dry, skin contact version of Fiano that still expresses the wonderful heady floral aromatics of the variety but harnesses the tannin, texture and colour of its thick skins.
Plenty of light, fresh, stone fruits and acidity keep the wine playful on the palate."

Fruit from the Chalmers' vineyard soaks on skins for four days, before an indigenous yeast ferment followed by 19 months in neutral barriques. Bottled unfiltered and unfined.

Musk Lane was founded by Brendan R. Lane in 2015. The winery has been based in Kyneton in the Macedon Ranges since 2019, and now they look after several vineyards in the region.
