Taking its name from the road near Arianna Occhipinti's vineyard in Vittoria, the SP68 rosso emerges as a blend of 70% Frappato and 30% Nero d'Avola from the estate's youthful vines. This red wine serves as a fitting initiation into the distinctive qualities of Occhipinti's creations: it embodies transparency and terroir-driven characteristics, underscored by a vibrant acidity that refreshes the palate. In this vintage, the aromatic profile is pronounced, featuring ripe red cherries, dark plum, and stewed blackberries, set against a backdrop of violets, dried roses, and nasturtium.
