This exquisite Pinot Noir hails from the venerable Besson Vineyard, a plot established in the early 1900s and situated at the southern edge of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Though it falls just short of the Santa Cruz Mountains AVA, this site is lovingly managed organically according to its rich granitic and sandy loams, allowing for great potential in its grapes. As a tribute to George Besson - Birichino's collaborator for over two decades - this wine was fittingly named after him. Enjoy!
