From Pyramid Valley’s Mānatu vineyard in Central Otago, planted on schist and glacial soils at elevation, this Pinot Noir reflects a cool, exposed site shaped by biodynamic farming. The nose opens with red cherry, raspberry, and rose, with a light herbal note and a faint earthy edge. The palate is finely structured, with supple tannins and a clear line of acidity carrying red fruit. A mineral thread runs through the wine, giving shape and persistence. The finish is long, savoury, and gently stony.
