Grown on gravel soils with the deposits from the Old Danube. Hand harvested, fermented with ambient yeast in stainless steel, raised in large old wood.
Aromatic, expressive nose to start. It invites with ginger biscuits, peach and flint. Good intensity of flavours with more peach, apple and yellow flowers like daffodils. Long finish, lingering yellow fruit, limey acidity and underlying ‘minerality’. Impressive. Seductive.
