Voyager Estate Sparkling Chenin Blanc

Venturing into the world of sparkling wines, Voyager showcases undeniable elegance. While one might anticipate Chardonnay given Voyager's commendable track record, this creation is entirely sourced from Chenin Blanc, specifically from Weightmans Block 1 of Voyager Estate. The choice of this Chenin patch hinges on its early ripening nature, culminating in robust flavor profiles at minimal sugar levels while preserving intrinsic acidity.

Upon hand-harvesting, the fruit undergoes a delicate whole-bunch pressing. After an overnight settling, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. Embracing the age-old Champagne technique, post a brief tank maturation, the wine finds its way into bottles by the end of May. It continues its journey on lees until October, post which it undergoes disgorging, complemented by a light dosage.
