Eleven Sons is Mitch Sokolin, ex-Michelin sommelier and winemaker extraordinaire, making wines from select vineyards across Australia’s beautiful but unappreciated Limestone Coast, stretching from Mount Gambier to Robe. Limestone Cowboy is his off-piste project with friend and wine lover Shane.
Fermented wild in neutral oak, this Limestone Coast Savagnin shows briny tension and quiet complexity. Aromas of lemon pith, almond and hay unfold over a saline, mineral palate with gentle grip and chalky length. A bright, textural expression of coastal limestone and cool southern light.
